Buggy life

I couldn't resist the nice light Herbie found himself waiting for me in today. The buggy is finally fixed - after 3 months waiting for new wheels - which means my back is getting a break...

Laid Back Herbie

Against all the odds, Herbie is a pretty laid back guy these days. He'll happily lie and kick in his baby gym, or just on the floor wherever he is put, while the world rushes around him, usually at high pitch and high volume. He tolerates an enormous amount of pulling and tweaking from the girls with good humour, most of the time. He does a lovely line of cooing when given the air space, which isn't very often. He's basically being very kind to his mother, which is much appreciated!

The art of cool

So the girls' living doll is becoming more and more fun by the day. He let's them dress him up with remarkable good nature!

I noticed yesterday that Herbie can now bring his hands together and purposefully grasp things. His movements are becoming more and more controlled. I'm also realising that I can no longer feed him wherever I like as the world is becoming too interesting and he's really easily distracted. He's growing up fast of course...

Halloween

Herbie's first Halloween and although he wasn't keen to be photographed, he did enjoy being a bat and going to Oxford Castle (actually he slept through most of the entertainment and left all the sweets for the rest of us - such is the lot of a 13 week old...)
